Vulture Culture will be swinging by Raw Hyde to program an hour of kick-ass stand-up comedy from 9.00pm to 10.00pm Thursday October 27th at Hyde Park Hotel, North Perth.

Featuring comics:

Tien Tran – “Edgy one liners with hilarious anecdotes”

Raw Hyde will also be showcasing a range of additional open mics such as Bands, DJ’s and spoken word throughout the night.

Get down from 7.00pm for screenings of the funniest skits and short films from Rottofest 2010 & 2011. Featuring Jules Duncan’s “Cashed up Bogan’s”, “Henry & Aaron’s X-mas special” and Alan Smithee’s “Kings Park Exposed”.

Rottofest 2011

Rottnest Island’s annual weekend festival, Rottofest returned in 2011 to showcase Launch the Comedian feat: Dave Thornton, Search for Australia’s funniest filmmakers and musicians such as the Brow Horn Orchestra, Ruby Boots, Sam Perry, Diger Rokwell and Felicity Groom, Kathryn Rollins, Cut & Paste DJ’s & the Community. “Arguably one of the best Perth festivals for 2011″ Faster Louder.

Rottofest 2011 Preview Comedy Show at Curtin University Tavern

Curtin University Guild Members were treated to a hilarious Rottofest 2011 preview show featuring comics Mike G (USA), Josh Makinda, Colin Ebsworth and Nesh Sooriyan.

Stand-up Comedy + American: The Bill Hicks Story

This evening double bill at Luna Outdoor will commence with a one hour Stand-up Comedy show at 7.00pm featuring some very dangerous comedians and followed by a screening of American: The Bill Hicks Story.

Stand-up Comedy Kings & “The Castle”

Vulture Culture & Movies by Burswood presents a special one hour stand-up comedy show featuring comedians Ben Darsow (South Australia), John Robertson (Western Australia) plus supports. The laughs will then continue with a screening of an all-time Australian comedy film classic THE CASTLE.

Rottnest Comedy & Short Film Festival (Rottofest 2009)

Vulture Culture staged a 3 day festival that brought the very best of Western Australia’s film, comedy and musical talent such as Tame Impala, Injured Ninja & French Rockets to the iconic Rottnest Island. The inaugural Rottnest Comedy & Short Film Festival was a roaring success and is set to be an annual fixture on the Western Australian events calendar. www.rottofest.com.au

Happy Endings Comedy Club

Vulture Culture ran a weekly stand-up comedy club upstairs at the Leederville Hotel in the summer of 2010. Good News Weeks Claire Hooper even dropped in for a spot.

Salute Night Trilogy

Operating under the name Tour de Funk Productions, Vulture Culture staged the successful Chili Pepper Funk Fest, an evening dedicated to the old skool 80’s funk of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. This was followed up with P-Funk Fest, a salute to Parliament Funkadelic. The finale in the salute night trilogy was Æon Blue Tribute to Tool ~ a hats off to the progressive rock heavy weights.
